Film Screening & Discussion
The LGBTQIA+ community, generally does not find belongingness in the pages of convetional history. Thus, the life history of queer persons become a testimonial site for understanding the everyday struggle and love that we embody. For the pride month, Indradhanu hosted a special film screening and discussion on the life of late Saleem Kidwai, a prominent historian and gay rights activist of India. Hoping to see all of you there!

Chrysalis – Art Event
Indradhanu in collaboration with the Fine Arts and Craft Club organized Chrysalis, a poster art contest which challenged IIT Delhi to explore the realm of the Queer and the Proud through art. Art and artists have played a revolutionary role in mainstreaming conversations around human dignity, diversity, and equality. Interestingly, the lead petitioner in the IPC 377 case was a renowned artist and activist - Navtej Singh Johar.

Vision
Indradhanu is an independent student-driven resource body committed to raising collective consciousness and sensitization on the lives and struggles of diverse gender and sexual minorities among the IIT Delhi campus fraternity.
Mission
The objective of the collective is two-pronged - on one hand, we are committed to creating a conducive space for diverse gender and sexual minorities in the campus to explore, socialize, learn and unlearn in a safe, comforting, and holistic environment.
